Students 4 Best Evidence (S4BE) is a growing network of students from around the world, from school age to university, who are interested in learning more about evidence-based healthcare (EBH).  The network is supported by the UK Cochrane Centre.  In addition to the website, the S4BE has a Facebook group and Twitter feed. For more information, read Selena Ryan-Vigs blog which introduces Students 4 Best Evidence.

Norah Essali’s video introduction tells you all about S4BE and how you can get involved.

Holly Millward of the UK Cochrane Centre says, “Whether you are training to be a doctor, nurse or other health professional, or you’re a school student thinking about studying medicine, we are helping students pull together all the resources on Evidence Based Health Care (EBHC) (with the help of students) into one interactive space, where we hope you will find the right information for you and help you meet other like-minded students.”

The website contains a collection of resources that have been categorised by its members according to how they address key steps of EBHC.  The main categories are:

Asking Questions

Appraising Research
